Mediterranean series

From 2006 to 2013 I co-convened a series of seminars, workshops and conferences on the challenges facing the Mediterranean in the 21st century. Inspired by the work of Fernand Braudel, a distinctive aspect of these events was a concern with the longue durée of mobility systems. It was funded by the Institute for Advanced Studies (IAS), Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, and the Centre for Mobilities Research at Lancaster.

The website of this networking initiative was operative from 2006 to 2016.
